I take the antidepressant Amitriptyline, but i'm not depressed i take them for tension headaches. And my mom just bought some diet pills, the Green Coffee Bean Extract trim. And I heard that it's not recommended to mix diet pills with antidepressants. And i was just wondering if someone who takes the pills have taken diet pills with it? and what happened? And I have showed a doc the pills and he said they were fine to mix. But I was reading online that maybe it isn't, and I just wanted a second opinion. Thanks!!!! (:

A lot of diet pills have phentermine which is a form of amphetamine (you can look it up), which is another word for SPEED! Your heart will race, and speed up...while antidepressants slow your body down, so it's kind of a fighting force.
