Good way to get your caffeine buzz without drinking coffee?

Question by harisonfjord: Good way to get your caffeine buzz without drinking coffee?
I would like to use coffee as a safe stimulant.. but don't enjoy drinking coffee.. what are some good ways to get your caffeine buzz without drinking coffee? Can you add coffee grounds to hot chocolate? I'm looking for ideas here..

I'm looking for a home recipe using starbucks coffee beans rather than buying something from a coffee shop.

Green Coffee Bean Extract - Can someone take this who DOES NOT consume caffeine?

Question by sweet86cheek: Green Coffee Bean Extract - Can someone take this who DOES NOT consume caffeine?
Don't drink coffee or soda - stay away from caffeine all together. Heard about this but there is nothing about caffeine effects for someone who doesn't drink caffeine.

You could take them, unless caffeine has an adverse effect on you (there is caffeine in tea and some soft drinks)...
"Each serving (2 capsules = 800 mg) of Genesis Today Green Coffee Bean Extract contains 16 mg of caffeine, which is much less than the 100-150 mg caffeine in an average cup of coffee."

The idea is the caffeine makes you feel alert, so you are more incined to get up and move about!
There is no medical evidence to back the claims they make...
"When you take them on a daily basis and watch what you eat and exercise regularly (and smartly), you are going to find that you are able to lose weight effortlessly – or at least more easily than without Green Coffee Beans."

Oh yes?

Question for coffee people about the caffeine in coffee?

Question by Jade M: Question for coffee people about the caffeine in coffee?
Between instant, ground, and fresh ground what are the main differences caffeine wise? Does instant have less, does fresh ground have the most? or does it depend on how much coffee you use?

thanks in advance.

Answer by Jami V
I think it should depend where the coffee is and what type. Not if it is instant or fresh. And yes it depends on how much your use. Hope this helps.

is a there a lot of caffeine in tea, as opposed to coffee?

Question by Aaron Carter: is a there a lot of caffeine in tea, as opposed to coffee?
I have heard a rumour that tea is as caffeine rich as coffee, if not more so. I personally get much more of a kick from a cup of coffee than tea, so find this hard to believe. Does anyone know any further knowledge on this matter?

ARSCHGESICHT!!! So, this is where my students go for help after class. To be honest, I'm ashamed. My students would rather utilize the internet as a tool to advance their schooling rather than talk to me. Is this what my grandfather fought for in WWII, so my own students can patronize me? You know, I regularly use google to check if my students ask the questions that I give online, and looks like I caught you red-handed. I'll tell you what roasting freaking coffee beans does to its freaking caffeine content. Meet me in the dean's office and we'll roast some coffee over your ripped up lab report. I'm already having ACS track your username and find out which student of mine you are. I'm glad you displayed curiosity in this topic, and I'll be seeing you soon.

How is the caffeine in decaffeinated coffee extracted?

Question by Emperial_Guard_09: How is the caffeine in decaffeinated coffee extracted?
I was discussing this with my co-worker. I told him decaffeinated tea leaves are plucked early in order for it to have less caffeine, so maybe in the case of coffee maybe the beans are picked early. Does anyone know the answer?
