How do i make the perfect coffee?

Question by Extended: How do i make the perfect coffee?
How do i make it?
I just watched the green hornet and some Japanese dude made extremely good looking coffee.
When something looks good is most likely tastes good.
So does anyone know a good Youtube video or something to make the PERFECT coffee?

Thanks in advance, A coffee fan.
I mean latte!

  1. The perfect coffee depends on your individual taste and the coffee you use.

I like to use a medium roast coffee because I don't like to have it too strong. I fill up the machine to the 8 cup line (this is not 8 measuring cups because a cup of coffee is considered to be approximately 6 ounces). I use 6 rounded scoops of coffee.

My grandmother used to put a pinch of salt in the grounds. For special occasions, I add a few drops of vanilla extract to the water before it passes through the coffee grounds (don't overdo it).

PS looking good has never ever meant tasting or being good.

  2. Filtered/purified water, good quality beans (need not be outrageously expensive), buy a grinder, coarsely grind your beans, buy a french press, steep coarse grounds in almost boiling water in french press for four minutes, press the plunger and voila. Once prepared pour off a cup and put the rest in a thermal carafe.

  3. You simply need a mocha a some quality ground coffee. Once it's done, add some frsh milk or cream - there you go.

For these American monstruosities, just use the same amount of coffee you would for an expresso but put it in a tall, warm glass and fill to the brim with warm milk.

You start with organic, fresh roasted, fresh ground coffee beans. Brew if or use the french press, if you have an espresso machine, an Americano is fabulous.

You really do have to start with a great organic bean as mentioned above and your coffee will be better.

Just do a quick search on YouTube. Type in "Making a perfect cup of coffee". It really is a matter or taste. See which video looks the most interesting. You can also buy a stencil so you can make the cream into a picture or watch the videos on coffee art.

You are right, things that look good can taste better. But....you must start with the right ingredients.
