If I drank only water (like no sodas, coffee, etc) and had mainly soup, and occasionally salads, etc. And did one hour (minimum) of exercise per day. If I did this program for 2 months, would I be able to lose 40 pounds? I would be very strict and would be able to stick to it?

Yes you would lose weight but you need to throw some protein in there too. Try some chopped pork chops in your salad with italian dressing or chopped chicken...mmm
What do you think? Answer below!
you'd lose more than that in 2 months. being that your diet would be healthy with no fats & your exercising, you'd lose about 60lb. but only if you were strict with it. :]
ReplyDeletelosing that much weight in such a short amount of time is unhealthy. you would have excess skin and stretch marks. 40 pounds should take almost a year and for heavens sake don't diet just do the hour of exercise a day 3-6 days a week. when you exercise your appetite will increase but so will your metabolism the weight will come off if you diet youll gain the weight back when you return to eating normally but with the exercise thing you can never stop you must always put in that 30 mins or 1 hour 3-6 days a week to keep the weight off, but youll find thats easier to do when your diet isnt so restricted
ReplyDeleteYou might be able to lose weight this way, but make sure that you can get all your nutrition through the drinks. Maybe you can include some soya bean drinks or milk as well?
ReplyDeletepersonally, I think if you eat healthily and exercise, it would be a much better way to lose weight since it is healthier. You might be undernourished if you don't eat for two months.
Take care
