I got some from my local international market because they looked so darn good. Im really not sure how to eat it though lol. I was thinking and was wondering if they should be served warm or cold, with ice cream or maple syrup. Since ive never tried it I have no clue what would taste good with it. Dip it in coffee or milk? (don't like tea) I got the sesame one with dark bean filling. Please suggestions. I would eat it as a desert if that changes anybodies suggestion? Thank you so much! Trying to watch my diet as well lol thanks.

Eat it as it is or cut it up and put it in ice cream. That kind of mocchi is almost never good hot.

place them inside your coochie coo ?!?!
Eat it right out the box with your special girl each taking a bite romantically while sitting on a sofa, watching tv, holding hands until one of you eat it right off and the other just lick the residue of your fingers. There is no best way to eat mochi with fillings like sesame, ube, taro, green tea, red beans etc You can even wash it down with green tea, sake (Japanese beer) or Bud lite, no problem *

ReplyDeletewell don't pour maple syrup over it. enjoy it as it is at room temp. don't chill it or it'll get hard.
ReplyDeleteif you don't like Japanese tea (ocha) you can enjoy this omochi with milk or coffee. don't dip it because it'll get mushy and soggy. omochi is not a biscotti so it's not a dunking dessert.
I'd go with whatever iSweet says...*sigh*....isn't she beautiful?
