I've just arrived from Guatemala with three pounds of green coffee beans. How do I roast them?

  1. If they are green they are not proper for drinking, just for planting.
    To make drinking coffee the grains have to be red.After picking them red in the coffee plants they are sun dried till the grains are dark brown. After dried, they are roasted with constant movement . Roasting has a great degree of influence on the taste of the final product.
    After roasting they are grinded .
    Thats it.

    you can roast them in the oven on a cookie sheet.
