I am planting tomatoes, peppers, onions, green beans, and peas. I also have a herb garden and strawberry patch.
Normally half way though the summer when everything is growing fabulously, bugs appear and destroy all my hard work!
Any body have any advice, I am located in the midwest thanks

I know from when I was a kid that we always put our used coffee grounds and crunched up egg shells in the soil around the tomato plants. Never had bugs on the tomatoes. I cannot remember what we did for cucumbers, peppers, and green beans.
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of pesticides but there are natural remedies to rid you of nasty pests in the garden.

I have an acre of land and keep threatening to plant a garden but realize there is a lot of work involved including weeding and controlling pests (bugs and rodents) so good luck to you.
