  4. Turkey roasted in a wood-burning stove, roasted sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli, green olives, wheat rolls, and strawberry cheesecake. It was a hastily-prepared lunch for a few workers where I work, and it was pretty good without being too much.

  5. TOO MUCH!!

Brother Ron made deep fried turkey and baked turkey - he skewerd the baked turkey with rosemary
I made drunk pork roast - bone in shoulder roast stuffed with savories, browned, de-glazed with LOTS of red wine cooked in the oven
Sis Patricia (hostess) - corn bread dressing, manderine orange salad with carmelized almonds and poppy seed dressing, garlic cheese bread, cardiac arrest in a pan - bacon, bacon drippings, cream and parmesan reggiano cheese, corn pudding casserole
Mom - candied yams with marshmallows and pecans
    Brother-in-law Thomas - rice dressing
Sis Jeanell - deserts - pumpkin pie, pumpkin cake, ice cream cake
    Friend Sandra - apple pie
Friend Tina - birthday cake for my niece
    Wine, tea, coffee
Oh - Blue Bell pumpkin pecan carmel ice cream - only available in November

Lots of left overs for every one to take home and not have to cook today.

The best part - sharing a wonderful meal with friends and family.

  6. All that carbohydrate - potatoes, sweet potatoes, 2 types of pasta, and cornbread! I wonder you can even walk today. And only one vegetable - green beans. What about your 5 a day? I'm so glad that I didn't have to eat all that!
