What type of tea has has the most caffeine?

Question by Kid Pecatonica: What type of tea has has the most caffeine?
I quit soda a few months ago, and I'm sick of coffee.

Black tea that has been fermented. White or green isn't supposed to have as much.

    you should try.. the diet tea.
    It will have your a$ $ burning for the entire night.

    Most of them have the same levels of caffiene--however, I would recommend green tea or black tea as it is healthy.

    they kind i gave my son...lil knucklehead was bouncing off the walls!! i got it at a chinese food store...but it is sssoooo good!

    Black tea has the most caffeine in it, and don't try the diet tea liek that guy told you... I will recommend you the Honey Rooibos Tea, its the one i like the most, relaxing and tastes heavenly.

    Caffeine content is highly unpredictable in coffee and tea drinks, especially in tea. Preparation has a huge impact on tea, and color is a very poor indicator of caffeine content. Teas like the green Japanese Gyokuro contain far more caffeine than much darker teas like Lapsang Souchong, which has very little.

    In general, each of the following contains approximately 200 milligrams of caffeine:

    One 200 mg caffeine pill
    Three standard Excedrin pills
    Two Foosh mints [4]
    Five 1 fluid ounce shots of espresso from robusta beans (150 milliliters)
    Two 8 fluid ounce containers of regular coffee (470 milliliters)
    One and a half pounds of milk chocolate (680 grams)
    Three 8-Fluid Ounce cups of Red Bull energy drink (710 milliliters)
    Four 8-Fluid Ounce cups of Vault energy drink (1 liter)
    Five 8 fluid ounce cups of black tea (1.2 liters)
    Five 8-Fluid Ounce cups of Mountain Dew (1.2 liters)
    Five 12 fluid ounce cans of typical soda pop (1.8 liters) (variable)
    Eight and a Half 8-Fluid Ounce cups of Coca-Cola Classic
    Ten 8 fluid ounce cups of green tea (2.4 liters)
    Fifty 8 fluid ounce cups of decaffeinated coffee

    all tea brands have the same amount of caffeine in it..unless you get decaffenated tea.
